Lillie Bell Woodard, 90, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison B. and Mary Frances Martin Elders; two daughters, Mary Forrest and Barbara Brooks; two sisters, Catherine Barnes and Opal Butler; one brother, Hoyt Elders; and one great-grandchild, Brett Austin Wilson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Herbert Woodard; son, Calvin (Charlotte) Woodard of LaFayette; grandchildren, Kristi, Ronnie, Jody, Kevin and Rebecca; seven great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel Wednesday, March 22 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dewey Blalock officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodard Family Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ronnie Woodard, Jody Woodard, Ray Rhudy, Jeremy Harris, Lee Owens and Bobby Owens.
