Steve Gray, 67, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Erlanger Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elsie Gray; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Novella Gulledge; and brother-in-law, Larry Gulledge.
He loved traveling, backpacking, camping, and bicycling. He worked at Mohawk for over 30 years.
He is survived by loving his wife of 45 years, Pat Gray of Tunnel Hill; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Ronnie Spence of Dalton and Wanda and Gregg Legg of Rocky Face; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carol and Eddie Long of Dalton; sister-in-law, Brenda Gulledge of Dalton; brother-in-law, Stevie Gulledge of Dalton; and nieces and nephews.
The graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, March 23, at 3 p.m. at Grove Level Cemetery with Rev. Eric Kennedy officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until the graveside service time at 3 p.m.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contribution may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or T. C. Thompson's Children's hospital.
