Pinetree Country Club proved to be a difficult tract a year ago with a fifth-place finish shooting 910. That was 20 off the pace of defending champion Texas Tech. The course features long par 3s and 4s.
Holly Morgan leads the squad with a 74.39 stroke average.
Monica San Juan (74.38) and Cristina Perez (74.81) are close behind, while Maddy McDanel (76.19) and Maria Pineiro (76.67) round out this week’s entry. Megan Woods (76.81) is teeing it up as an individual.
The Mocs are attempting to recapture their start to the season. In the first three events, the team averaged 291.89 strokes per round. That’s grown to 301.67 over the past four.
