Elsie Marvilene Hyatt, 75, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, died on Saturday March 25, 2017 at her home.

Elise was born June 21, 1941 in Lafayette, GA, to the late Marvin Stoker and Edna Childs Stoker; and was also preceded in death by her husband Riley Hyatt; daughter, Kay Patterson; brothers, Jack Stoker and Gary Stoker; and sisters, Joyce, Martha, Sue, Deloria and Judy.

Mrs. Elsie Marvilene Hyatt is survived by her sons, Greg Arnold of Crandall, GA, Larry and Pam Hyatt of Roanoke, AL and Mike Hyatt of Franklin, GA; daughters, Arlene Priest of Tunnel Hill, GA, Betty and Donald Caswell of Franklin, GA; sisters Jeana Stuckey of Jacksonville, FL and Cindy Jones of Connecticut; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Elsie Marvilene Hyatt will be held, Tuesday March 28, at 11 a.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Brother George Cross officiating. Interment will follow the service at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends, Monday March 27, at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5-9 p.m.

Arrangements are by locally owned and operated Ponders Melrose Chapel.
