Virginia Gail Ball, 61, passed away on March 27, 2017 at a local hospital.
She was born on Aug. 19, 1955, to John W. Ball and Laura Mae Reynolds. She was a 1973 graduate of City High School. She was employed at the Salvation Army. She was a faithful member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church were she was a member of the choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Ball and Laura Mae Reynolds Bussey.
Virginia (Gail) is survived by her daughter, Tracy Ball; grandson, Allante Novene; great-granddaughter, Baby Nova, sisters, Cassandra Seals, Sherry Ball, Cynthia Hudson, Tonia Hudson, Myrtle Watkins, Ruth Smith, Wanda Young and Sharon (Tedarrell) Wadley; brothers, Rodney (Lolita) Hudson; Johnathan (Susan) Davis; Marty (Millicent) Davis, life partner, David Young, and loving aunt Liz Hester.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 1, at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 31, after noon and family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m.
