James Barfield
James “Jammey” Henry Barfield II, 36, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away at his residence on Monday, March 20, 2017.
He was born in Dalton, Ga., and had resided in Ellijay and LaFayette, Ga., most of his life. He had worked in construction work as a carpenter with his father and had also worked for Global Installation and Thompson Construction. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and being a mountain man. He attended Noble Fellowship, LaFayette Revival Center and Church of God of Prophecy in LaFayette.
Jammey is survived by his parents: James Henry (Evelyn) Barfield, Sr., of Hartshorn, MO, Donna Gail Davis Barfield of LaFayette, GA, siblings: Gerry Barfield of Ellijay, GA, Kenny Barfield of Hartshorn, MO, Judy Hernandez of CA, Gary Barfield of CA, Tammie Hill of Chattanooga, TN, Diana McGaha of LaFayette, GA, Karen Ingle of Varnell, GA, niece: Natashia Cooper, nephew: Antonio Barfield, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, in the chapel with Pastor Marion Webb officiating.
