Mary Frances Dobson, 89, of LaFayette, Georgia, died on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of LaFayette. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Johnnie Dobson; parents, Fred and Agnes Murdock; brother, R.F. Murdock; and sister, Joyce Howard.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sue ( Ronald) Underwood; son and daughter-in-law, Terry (Jane) Dobson; sister, Lois (George) Turnipseed; sister-in-law, Sammie Dobson, all of LaFayette; grandchildren, Gerald (Melanie) Underwood, Scott (Lou Rea) Underwood, Holly (Boyd) Greene and Julie (Joe) Psaila; great-grandchildren, Lance, Clayton, Ansley, Bergen and Traven Underwood and Trent, Colin and Audrey Psaila; several nieces and nephews; special childhood and lifelong friend, Hazel Pilgrim; and special friend and caregiver, Mary Miller.
Funeral from the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel will be Saturday, April 1 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Mike Peterson, Pastor Ricky Studdard and Rev. George Turnipseed officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memory Gardens. Pallbearers are grandchildren, Gerald, Scott, Lance, Clayton and Traven Underwood, Boyd Greene and Joe Psaila. Honorary pallbearers are nephews and special caregivers, Sandra Ware, Evelyn Jefferson, Ginger and Billy Vinyard.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, March 31 from 5-8 p.m.
