Bryan College will host its annual Service Day on Thursday as students, faculty, and staff go out into the Dayton community to complete various service projects. The event supports the college’s mission of making a difference in today’s world through Christian service.

"Bryan College cancels classes for Service Day to provide the students hands on experience working alongside their mentors to make a difference in the community we live in,” said Mariah Goodwin, a senior at Bryan and coordinator of this year’s Service Day.

Highlights of service projects slated for this year include:

Field Day at Dayton City School
Richland Creek Clean-up
Work at Blazing Hope Ranch
Painting and landscaping at Cedine Camp Missions
Teaching students about the concepts of money at Rhea County High School
