Annette Soi Smith, 69, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, died on Monday March 27, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Annette was born July 18, 1947 in Cleveland, Tennessee, to the late Arthur Eugene and Neppie Ruth Payne Soi; and was also preceded in death by her son, John Eugene Smith; daughter, Brenda Lee Smith White; brother, James Soi; sisters, Barbara Brogdon, Connie Burnecke and Martha Dean Soi.
Annette is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Floyd Smith of the residence; daughters, Sharon Messer of Dalton, GA and Christy Smith Holcomb of Chatsworth, GA; sons, Edward Lamar Smith and Anthony Smith of Tunnel Hill, GA; brothers, Guy Soi, Jimmy Soi and Michael Soi all of Tunnel Hill, GA; sisters, Juanita Burnecke of Tunnel Hill, GA and Jeanette Earley of Rocky Face, GA; grandchildren, Alicia, Ashley, Heather, Erica, Brook, Alex, Johnathan, Jacob, Kyler, Haley, Carley, Kenzie, Trevor, Hannah, Josh, Andy and Gracie; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dee Underwood and Marion and Carol Smith.
Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Annette Soi Smith was held Wednesday March 29, at 2 p.m. at The Church of God of the Union Assembly with Reverend Lonnie Starnes officiating. Interment followed the service at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park with Andy Baldwin, Jacob Smith, Anthony Smith, Lamar Smith, Kyler Holcomb and Alex Smith serving as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by locally owned and operated Ponders Melrose Chapel.
