Ruth Penney
Ruth Penney, 88, of McDonald passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at her residence.
She was born September 3, 1928 in Hayesville, NC to the late James V. and Mae Ledford Moore. She was a member of Ooltewah Baptist Church and retired from Central Soya after 35 years of service.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Bob Penney, and her siblings, Herbert, John and Lucille.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
