The women of the Gamma Iota Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. announce the annual “Tea with Z” fundraiser, a tribute to the works of sorority member and acclaimed author, Zora Neale Hurston. The annual tea inspired luncheon will spotlight the talents of Mr. Danny Clay, a recording artist who has performed with Tyler Perry Entertainment. His soulful and jazz inspired style will spotlight the Harlem Renaissance era and the talents of that day.
The Tea with Z will be held at the Kingdom Center at 740 Martin Luther King, Jr.
Blvd. on Saturday, March 25, at 11 a.m. Tickets for the event are $40. Proceeds will benefit the sorority’s academic scholarship program. To purchase tickets, call 423 629-1717.
