Heritage House Presents "Beat The Devil" March 16

  • Wednesday, March 8, 2017
"Spring at Heritage House brings together a cavalcade of big-name talent, as BEAT THE DEVIL reunites Humphrey Bogart with Peter Lorre and director John Huston. Actresses Gina Lollobrigida and Jennifer Jones help to spice things up as the romantic plotline of this cult sleeper becomes ever more convoluted" said Heritage House representatives.

In this ironic film -- which features an unusual mix of adventure, comedy and crime elements — a crowd of eccentric, raffish misfits kill time in a little Italian seaport until repairs are completed on the rust-bucket ship that will take them to British East Africa.
There they all have secret schemes to stake a claim to a rich uranium find, each thinking the others are unaware of their intentions.

Popcorn will be provided during the two screenings at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The film runs 1:29 and is pre-1960, and thus rated ‘NR’ (Not Rated).

The Heritage House is located at 1428 Jenkins Road Chattanooga, just off E. Brainerd Road.
