Morning Pointe of Hixson residents Pat Arnold, Pat Kean, Eloise Edwards, Aline Hannah, Kay Tornow, Thelma Keith, Eileen Beattie and Lavelle Burnett got crafty during a Mardi Gras mask making contest at the assisted living and memory care community.
Morning Pointe of Hixson residents Pat Arnold, Pat Kean, Eloise Edwards, Aline Hannah, Kay Tornow, Thelma Keith, Eileen Beattie and Lavelle Burnett got crafty during a Mardi Gras mask making contest at the assisted living and memory care community.

Morning Pointe of Hixson residents put their crafting skills to the test, as they made masks in honor of Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras). The assisted living and memory care residents used glitter, feathers and glue to make their festive creations during a mask making contest, while other seniors, associates and volunteers watched the contestants face off.

 

Morning Pointe never misses a moment to enjoy the residents’ favorite holidays, as events are planned to promote fun, engagement and community involvement.
