Tony Mines Elected To NAMTA International Board

Tony Mines, founder and CEO of Art Creations, has been elected to the board of directors for the International Art Materials Association.  Mr. Mines serves as the independent art stores and retailers’ representative board director and brings over 45 years of art materials experience to his advisory position.

Mr. Mines opened the first Art Creations store in 1972 after having worked with George and Alice Little of The Little Art Store during high school and college and following his return from service with the U.
S. Army in the Republic of South Vietnam.  The business is the oldest art materials and custom framing business in the Chattanooga area under continual family ownership. 

Art Creations currently has two locations: Downtown Chattanooga at 201 Frazier Ave. in the historic Little Building and the Hamilton Place area on Commons Boulevard.
