An emerging Chattanooga born six piece funk rock band, Over Easy, is taking the stage in a battle of the bands in an effort to headline the Nightfall Series at Miller Plaza. The event takes place Saturday at 9:30 p.m. at The Granfalloon.

Attendees can expect to hear a wide variety of originals ranging from lighthearted funk songs, all the way to stimulating progressive instrumental compositions.

“We’re excited to show the city of Chattanooga what we’ve been working on and showcase our music,” says Charlie Witt, founding member of Over Easy.

Drummer, Brady Sherrill, adds, “We’ve felt a tremendous amount of love and support from the community and feel we can do well in a competition like this with that continued support.”

Success in the first round is decided by popular vote via text message. Fans and friends are encouraged to vote and promote additional votes for this group of local musicians.

Founded in 2015, Over Easy is a six-piece band playing both original music and a wide variety of covers with a wide range influences such as Chicago, Steely Dan, Yes, and Led Zeppelin.
