Patti Steele, president and CEO of First Volunteer Bank, announces Matt McGauley as a new board member at First Volunteer Bank.  "Matt's background will bring a lot to our bank and will be a great addition to our bank family and are we are pleased to welcome him,' said Ms. Steele. 

Mr. McGauley is the fourth-generation president and owner of Chattanooga’s oldest commercial real estate firm, Fidelity Trust Company. He specializes in unique and sustainable development projects, with the company’s brokerage and management divisions playing supporting roles.

Through years of investing in Chattanooga, Mr. McGauley has become one of the largest individual property owners in the greater downtown area. HE is a member of the Chattanooga Association of Realtors, the Tennessee Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, the CCIM Network, an RPAC Investor, on the Board of the Bright School Alumni Council, and an advisor to RiverRocks.

Mr. McGauley graduated Bright School, Baylor School, and The George Washington University with a degree in Economics. He is married to Emily, a real estate and construction attorney, and has two daughters, Cate (2 years old) and Claire (3 months old).
