Chattanooga Citywide Book Drive Underway

The city of Chattanooga Youth and Family Development Department is hosting the 4th Annual Chattanooga Citywide Book Drive.

YFD collects books to promote literacy in communities and promote the importance of being a life time reader.  

Over the last three years thousands of books have been collected and this year the organizers are gearing up to collect even more.  I

Books will be collected at Shepherd YFD Center, 2124 Shepherd Road; Brainerd YFD Center, 1010 N. Moore Road; Avondale YFD Center, 1305 Dodson Ave.; Hixson YFD Center, 5401 School Dr.; Watkins Street, 1102 South Watkins St.; 12th Street, 501 West 12th St.; City Hall, 101 E. 11th St.
