Clyde Lee Millard, 79, of Chickamauga, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Elm Croft Assisted Living Home, where he had been struggling with dementia.
He worked at ADM Flour Mill for 52 years, retiring at the age of 75.
Clyde was preceded in death by his loving wife, Iva Ruth Millard; parents, Bill and Ellen Combs; and son, Ivan Millard.
He is survived by his daughter, Joanne Abbott, sons, Steve (Linda) Millard, Dewayne (Carol) Millard, Ronnie Millard, and Thomas (Margo) Millard; grandchildren, Sherry Abbott, Crystal Stokes, Amber Myers, Steven Millard, Nathan Millard, Jordan Millard, Jade Millard Baltimore, and Hunter Millard; sisters, Lucy Rogers and Margie Wilhoite; 15 great-grandchildren; and his significant other of 20 years, Hazel Bryant of Ooltewah, and her family.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, in the funeral home chapel, with BrotherJohn Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the LaFayette Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and prior to the service on Saturday.
