Mary Dallas
Mary Ann Smith Dallas, 64, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 in a local hospital.
She was a 1971 graduate of Riverside High School. She was employed by Helen Ross McNabb Center as a caregiver and was also formerly employed by Seaboard Farms. She attended Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Luther “Boyd” Smith, Sr. and Betsy Mae Johnson Smith; devoted husband, Calvin Lee Dallas, Sr.; brothers, Luther Smith, Jr., Billy Joe Smith, James Edward Smith, and Larry Smith.
Survivors include sons, Terry Dallas, Sr. and Calvin (LuCrystal) Dallas, Jr.; daughters, Latonya Dallas and Latecia Dallas; sisters, Lois (Albert) Simmons, Brenda Smith, and Betty Smith, all of Chattanooga; aunt, Becky Cohn of Decatur, AL; grandchildren, Calvin, III, Terriyahna, Terry, Jr., Taliyah, Amarrah, Calese, Montazia, Kaitlyn Dallas, and Aliyah Billups; godson, D’Igo Robinson; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
She will lie in state on Thursday, April 27, after 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Friday, April 28, at 10 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
