It was a good Senor Day at McCallie Saturday as senior Jackson Mathis tossed a three strikeout, complete game win, 6-3, against MBA in a D-II Middle/East Region game.
McCallie senior Corbin Brooksbank was 1 for 3 and scored run and senior Blaine Pritchett was also 1 for 3.
The Blue Tornado (11-9-1, 5-7) posted a six run first inning, while MBA tallied one run in the sixth and two more in the seventh.
MBA was led by Ben Coulthard (2-4, 1 run) and Blake Kirchenbauer (2-3, 1 RBI).
McCallie won all three games on the weekend for its first series sweep of the season.
