Brown, Katherine Faye (Rocky Face)

Katherine Faye Brown, 71, of Rocky Face, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Gordon Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Lee Higdon; parents, Ollie and Margaree Jones; and brother, Cecil Jones.

She was a member of Lindsey Memorial Baptist Church. She was employed at Cracker Barrel for more than 22 years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Robert Brown, Sr. of the residence; daughters and son-in-law, Derinda and Sandy Fowler of Chatsworth and Mitzi Brewer of Dalton; son, Robert Brown, Jr. of Dalton; sister, Carolyn Cordle of Chatsworth; special friend, Sue Gribble; grandchildren, Andy and Ashleigh Fowler, Shana Gaddis, Olivia Brewer and Rylie Brown; great-grandchildren, Brettin Manis, Aiden Fowler and Axton Fowler; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Brown will be held Wednesday, April 26, at 1 p.m. at the Rocky Face Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Gribble and Rev. Matt Higdon officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 25 from 5-9 p.m.
