Joseph "Jody" Keith Ford, 47, was born on July 14, 1969, in Chattanooga, and died on Sunday, April 23, 2017.

He loved his family and his family at UPS, where he worked for 27 years. He was once recognized as UPS driver of the year. He was an avid fan of the Tennessee Vols, NASCAR, golf and Bruce Springsteen. Jody was a 1987 graduate of Tyner High School (National Honor Society) and a graduate of UT-Chattanooga. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Allen Ford Jr.; grandparents, Bill and Lucy Hart of Johnson City, Tennessee, and Allen and Wanda Ford of Chattanooga. 

Survivors include his wife, Stacy West Ford, stepson, Zack West; mother, Mary (Stan) Crawley; brothers, William (Leigh) and their daughters Mary and Amelia Ford; Alex (Rebecca) Ford, Mark (Megan) Ford; sister, Candace (Will) Ford and special family friend Taylor Davies. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 30, from 3-5 p.m. with a service at 5 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.
