George Coffelt, 78 , of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, passed away at his home Wednesday April 26, 2017.
He worked for many years at Lodge Manufacturing.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lucille Johnson; his parents George & Hallie Marie Coffelt; sisters Alice Virginia Coffelt and Francis Virginia Zdanawski; and step-son James Edward Hargis.
He is survived by his sons Samuel Martin Coffelt and James Ernest (Michelle) Coffelt; step-son Brad Hargis; daughters Mary (Sissy) Coffield (John Larry Poore Sr.); brothers Carl Junior Hogwood; sisters Lois Virginia McCallie and Carolyn Ann Jackson; grandchildren Johnathon Coffelt (Nola Layne), Kenny (Heather) Coffelt, Corey (Linsdey) Whaley, Chad (Alex) Whaley, Chris (Danielle) Coffelt and Timothy Poore; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday April 28, from 1-8 p.m. CST.
Funeral Services will be conducted from the Funeral Home Chapel Saturday April 29, at 2 p.m. CST with Bro. Vernon Coffman officiating. Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
