The Helen Ross McNabb Center invites the community to support the 2017 Scenic City Sporting Clays Tournament on Friday, May 5, at Benton Sporting Clays in Charleston, Tenn.
The tournament marks the first fundraising event specifically focused on supporting mental health, addiction and social services provided by the Helen Ross McNabb Center in the Greater Chattanooga Area.
“We are privileged to serve children, adults and families through the Helen Ross McNabb Center in Hamilton County,” said Jerry Vagnier, Helen Ross McNabb Center president and CEO.
“We look forward to the Scenic City Sporting Clays Tournament and future fundraising events that will contribute to the growth of the Greater Chattanooga Area services and allow the Center to serve more people.”
The tournament begins at 10 a.m., and the flight is sold out. The cost for a four-person team is $600 and includes lunch provided by Jordan’s Bar-B-Q, a goody bag, an event shirt, and the use of a golf cart. Prizes will be awarded to the three highest scoring teams using the Lewis Handicapping System.
The Scenic City Sporting Clays Tournament is sponsored by Vulcan Materials Company, Gibco Construction, Sequatchie Concrete, Baker Donelson, Warren & Griffin, P.C. Attorneys at Law, 105.1 FM ESPN Chattanooga and WUSY US-101.
