With the 217th overall pick in the NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans selected University of Tennessee at Chattanooga senior offensive lineman Corey Levin.
One of the top offensive lineman in the Football Championship Subdivision, Levin is a two-time winner of the Jacobs Blocking Award, given to the top offensive lineman in the SoCon. He was a four-year starter at UTC and a three-time All-American.
This is the fourth UTC student-athlete selected in the draft since 2011.
Other recent draft picks for the Mocs include Davis Tull to New Orleans in the fifth round (148) in 2015, B.J. Coleman in the seventh round (243) to Green Bay in 2012, and Buster Skrine to Cleveland in the fifth round (137) in 2011.
UTC receiver C.J. Board will join the Baltimore Ravens as a undrafted free agent. Board was a four-year starter for the Mocs, helping UTC to three Southern Conference titles and three trips to the FCS Playoffs.
Board had 146 catches for 2,032 yards and 10 TDs in his career. He is sixth all-time in receptions and fifth in career receiving yards at UTC.
Last season, Board posted career-highs with 46 catches, 725 yards and five TDs. He also had three 100-yard receiving games in 2016.
Board is one of four Mocs now on an NFL roster, including Buster Skrine (2010) with the New Yorks Jets, Jacob Huesman (2015) with the New York Giants and Corey Levin (2016) with the Tennessee Titans.
Former Moc Chris Lewis-Harris (2011) is listed on the Raven's roster as an unrestricted free agent. Davis Tull (2014) and Derrick Lott (2014) are both free agents who were on rosters or practice squads last season.
