North Shore Pet Wellness Center To Open Monday On Frazier Avenue

  • Thursday, April 6, 2017

The North Shore Pet Wellness Center is opening on Monday in the heart of Chattanooga’s North Shore community. Independently owned and operated by Dr. Jordan Mracna, the wellness center will serve area pet owners with a more hands-on, community-driven veterinary experience that provides care for each pet while sharing the cost of lab and operating equipment across a network of partners.

“I’ve known that I wanted to be a veterinarian since I took my first job in high school at a dog kennel,” said Dr. Mracna. “After visiting Chattanooga several times while living in Atlanta, I knew that this was the city that I wanted to open my own practice. I couldn’t be happier to serve the North Shore community.”

The Chattanooga Veterinary Network was born out of the mindset that local veterinarians that develop personal relationships are the best resource for pet owners, said officials. By developing partnerships with other network veterinarians, each Wellness Center has full access to technology and surgical services, without having to pass these expenses along to every customer. Wellness Center owners like Dr. Mracna offer access to the Chattanooga Pet Club, a plan that spreads out the costs of care starting at $25 per month. “I just don’t believe that providing your pet with great care should make you go broke,” says Dr. Mracna. “That’s what’s so great about the Chattanooga Pet Club.”

As a celebration of the opening of the North Shore Wellness Center, all Chattanooga Veterinary Network clinics in St. Elmo, Main Street, Ft. Oglethorpe, and Hixson are offering no obligation, 100 percent free heartworm screenings for new and existing patients during the month of April. Book a visit online at www.chavets.com/book-a-visit/ or call 254-5370.

The North Shore Pet Wellness Center is a full service animal hospital and partner of the Chattanooga Veterinary Network, which provides 24/7 emergency care, general surgery, dental care, and preventative care for area pets. For more, visit www.chavets.com
