The Baylor boys soccer team hosted Notre Dame Thursday evening in a non-region match. After giving up an early goal, the Red Raiders answered with three of their own and went on to win 3-2.
Notre Dame opened the scoring in the 6th minute on a Milan Card goal.
At the 22nd minute, Keegan Weekley tied the match off a long shot.
Four minutes later, George Coogan gave the Red Raiders a 2-1 win off a Miles Marks cross.
Andrew Hill scored Baylor's final goal in the 38th minute off a Keegan Weekley corner kick.
It was 3-1 at half-time.
At the 77th minute, Notre Dame scored off a corner kick to make it 3-2.
"I thought we played our best soccer in the first half all season," Baylor head coach Curtis Blair said.
"We did a great job of moving the ball and finding gaps in their lines. We must do a better job of making faster decisions. I give Notre Dame credit for the way they played in the second half to make it difficult for us."
