The Black Jacket Symphony Appears At The Tivoli April 7 & 28

The Black Jacket Symphony, one of the most successful acts ever to come to the Tivoli Theater will be returning tonight and again on April 28. They will be performing the Fleetwood Mac “Rumours” Album.
For those few people (It sells out EVERY time they come to town) not familiar with the Black Jacket Symphony, they pick a famous album, such as the Fleetwood Mac mega-hit, Queen’s A Night At The Opera, or The Eagles Hotel California, just to name a few, and perform the entire album basically note for note, just as it was done originally.
Now, if you go looking for the “symphony” part, as in an orchestra, you won’t find it. They don’t need one – they are that good. In order to perform the selections as originally played, they only use the position players required to match the album. And then there is “the guy”. Each album the BJS performs requires “the guy”. For the Queen album, it took them years to find “the guy”. This is the person that is chosen to sing the lead vocals for the performance. Naturally, “the guy” has a voice perfectly matched to give the performance its intended sound.
Each band member is hand picked to help create the sound of the chosen album, therefore the band members are not always the same. After they perform the album in its entirety, the band takes a short break and then returns to play the “greatest hits” of the chosen artist for the evening. It really is something to behold, and I give it my highest recommendation.
All seats are good seats at the Tivoli, and there are a few left for tonight’s show and the April 28 show. I suggest you go online and get them now, or go by the box office and get them as soon as you can. You can find out more information and get a link to the seats at http://www.blackjacketsymphony.com.
Don’t risk being the only person in your town not to have seen this band. Rumours is a great album, having sold 45 million copies. The band is spectacular. The Tivoli is a wonderful venue. Tonight, April 7 and again April 28. Be there or be square.
