Celebration Of Success Service Sunday At Middle Valley COG

  • Wednesday, May 10, 2017

Middle Valley Church of God, 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, will have a 'Celebration of Success' on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

"This 'Celebration of Success' is an effort to honor the great successes of mothers in our community," officials said.

Four local mothers will be honored for their successes in developing their families for over 90 years.  Ranging from 90 years of age to 102 years of age, the celebration will highlight how they trained, motivated, and guided family members to success.  Each of these four mothers will receive special recognition and gifts from the church.

In addition to these four mothers being recognized, each mother present will be given a specially prepared gift for them.

Pastor Mitch McClure said, "We often recognize many in society from sports figures to politicians and do not take the opportunity to recognize the very basic leaders in our communities.  Mothers are the backbone of every family.  Mothers nurture from the first breath of life.  Our church intends to celebrate, honor, and encourage these four great mothers."

The community is invited to participate in this Celebration of Success.
