Free Community Cookout For Homeless Is June 5

  • Monday, May 15, 2017

Union Gospel Mission is partnering with New Sholar Baptist Church for a Summer Community Cookout on Monday, June 5, from 12-2 p.m. (or until the food runs out).  They will be serving the homeless and the less fortunate at Miller Park.

The menu includes a choice of a hamburger or hot dog, chips, dessert and cold drink.

The big grill will be onsite and volunteers will be cooking as guests come down the line. Two condiment areas will be setup with all the trimmings.

Free haircuts will also be provided, sponsored by Ken Ware (Ultimate Hair Styles) and others.

For more information and to volunteer email mail@theuniongospelmission.org.
