Jimmy C. Singleton, 63, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Monday May 15, 2017 at a local hospital.
Jimmy was born March 7, 1954 in Macon, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Singleton, stepfather, Billy Williams. He was a member of the Mt. Vernon Methodist Church and he was a member of the Praise Band.
He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Singleton of the residence; mother, Martha Williams of Macon, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Neisha and Brandon Brophy of Calhoun, GA, Stephanie and Tom Gable of Cypress, TX; mother-in-law, Dotha Dempsey of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Zach and Josh Gable of Cypress, TX, Caden, Bentley, Presley, Paxley and Paisley Brophy of Calhoun, GA; special nephew, P J and Jennie Poston of Crandall, GA; son, Sean Singleton of Rhode Island; several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Jimmy C. Singleton will be held Saturday, June 3, at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Vernon Methodist Church with Reverend Tac Coley officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday.
The family would like to thank their church family and the Praise Band for all the support they have shown.
