Sword and Shield Enterprise Security, Inc. a cybersecurity provider, in associate with Scott Insurance, and the Baker Donelson law firm, will be providing local business owners the information they need to know regarding cybersecurity at Secure Chattanooga - Cyber Summit on Thursday, May 18 from 8 a.m.-noon at the Marriott Chattanooga Downtown, 2 Carter Plaza.
"Industry experts in cybersecurity will address how to protect your company from possible attacks and how you should respond if you become a victim. From identity theft and fraud to corporate hacking attacks, like the latest WannaCry ransomware attack that crippled more than 200,000 computers in 150 countries, cyber security has never been more important for businesses and organizations," officials said.
Breakfast will be served from 7:30-8 a.m.
The conference will present the following speakers and topics:
- Jackson Vaughan, risk advisor for Scott Insurance, regarding cyber risk management and financing;
- Eric Setterlund, associate at Baker Donelson, and Clinton Sanko, ESI/contract counsel officer, regarding mitigating risks and finding value through information governance; and
- Teddy Ansink, enterprise security consultant at Sword and Shield Enterprise Security, regarding incident response plans.
