School Board To Select Superintendent Finalists Next Thursday; Choice To Be Made June 15

The Hamilton County Board of Education will meet in a Special Called Session next Thursday to select the finalists for the position of superintendent.

 

The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. in the Superintendent’s Conference Room at 3074 Hickory Valley Road.

 

Chairman Steve Highlander said the selection will be made on June 15.

 

Dr. Kirk Kelly, interim superintendent, is among the eight finalists.

 

He has been serving in the post since Rick Smith stepped down.
