Chattanooga Police Department Hosts Coffee With A Cop On Saturday

  • Friday, May 19, 2017

The Chattanooga Police Department will be hosting a Coffee with a Cop event on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Hamilton Place Mall food court.

Organizers said, "The purpose of this event is for our community to come, sit and to have a open dialog with members of our department while sharing a cup of joe. The conversations will take place at multiple tables and community members will be able to sit with an officer and share concerns or ask questions. It is our hope that through communication we can discuss issues and build relationships between our police and community."

This event is being done in partnership with the regional AARP who have graciously provided the coffee and snacks free of charge for anyone who participates.
