Come Let Us Reason - And Response

  • Saturday, May 20, 2017

It is a brilliant scheme the press and Democrats have come up with to try and destroy President Trump: Discredit and Diversion.

Their tactics?  Unsubstantiated accusations they come up with on a daily basis that play well in the media but simply go away when proven to be baseless.  Shift the public's attention away from the goals and accomplishments and force the conversations to be only negative and slanted.

Like it or not, Trump is our President.  Work with him.  If he fails, our nation fails.

Why can't Democrats, Republicans, and yes the media, heed the proven Biblical approach. "Come now and let us reason together."

Does half the country have short term nemory loss?  Republicans treated President Obama horrendously and tried to impede him at every turn. The birthers, the racists, the list goes on and on.

However, who can tell us what Trump has actually been able to get accomplished?  Other than a ton of Executive Orders, what has he gotten passed?  Any legislation?  Anyone?

Plus, or by the way, there is no reason to use any Biblical advice because Church and State are separate per the Constitution.  If the Churches want to be in on politics, or rather, officially weigh in on politics, then they need to pay taxes. That alone would help alleviate much of our local, state, and national budgetary woes. Yes, I do believe in and have a relationship with God and Jesus, but that relationship does not and should not include government.
