Edgar Corcino hit a two-run single in the sixth inning to give the Chattanooga Lookouts a 2-0 win over the Montgomery Biscuits on Wednesday.
The Biscuits were held off the scoreboard for the first time this season, while the Lookouts' staff recorded their fifth shutout of the year.
Chattanooga starter Fernando Romero (3-5) picked up the win after allowing just three hits over six scoreless innings
Opposing starter Hunter Wood (3-3) took the tough loss in the Southern League game after giving up two runs and four hits over 7 2/3 innings.
John Curtiss struck Michael Russell out with a runner on third to end the game for his eighth save of the season.

Game two of the series is Thursday night at AT&T Field.
Game time is 7:15 p.m.
UPDATE: LHP Tyler Jay has rejoined the Lookouts from the disabled list. Jay will be pitching out the bullpen.
