VIM Run And Walk For Health Set For June 3

The second Annual Volunteers in Medicine Chattanooga 5k Run and Walk for Health will be held on Saturday June 3. All proceeds from the race will go to providing healthcare to the residents of Chattanooga who otherwise could not afford it. 

The underwriter for the event is SunTrust Bank and sponsors are March Adams & Associates, Inc. Consulting Engineers and The Hawks Group.  Due to them, the race will have chip timing and finisher medals for everyone. 

The race will be held at the Camp Jordan Amphitheater, 323 Camp Jordan Pkwy.  The Camp Jordan track is asphalt, well lit, and winds along the Chickamauga Creek to the north and west, a farm to the south and Jordan Run and Cedar Glen subdivisions to the east. 

Registration is from 6:30-7:15 a.m. on site at Camp Jordan at the Amphitheater. The race will begin at 7:30 a.m.   

Registration is available now and the $25 will cover registration, T-shirt, and finishers medal.
