Glass House Collective announced a day of residential and commercial improvement under the direction of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga's Neighborhood Revitalization program team leader, Daniel Gamble.
This is the second year for the two organizations to partner up for a Glass Farms neighborhood Beautification Blitz, and this year's event will utilize the service of 70 volunteers to follow up with residences who described specific needs during the team's street-by-street canvassing efforts.
At this time the project list has reached capacity with plans to prune, mulch, and clear debris for 17 private residences along with three commercial sites and one local trail site, in partnership with the Southeast Conservation Corps.
The Beautification Blitz neighborhood cleaning and work days will be Thursday and Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Glass House Collective and surrounding neighborhood (Glass Farms Historic District), 2501 Glass Street.
