New Traffic Signal Implementation At Ringgold Road And McDonald Road Begins Monday

  • Monday, June 19, 2017

Starting on Monday, and lasting for an additional 10 days, the newly-erected traffic signal at McDonald Road and Ringgold Road will be on flash mode to give drivers an opportunity to be aware of the new traffic signal. This signal will service the newly-constructed Life Care Center, the I-75 Flea Market, along with Wally’s Restaurant and several hotels and the Antique Mall District.

On June 28, the traffic signal will go into operation permanently.

This traffic signal will be an addition to the upcoming Exit 1 reconfiguration and will sync with all the other traffic signals along Ringgold Road. Officials said this will help with heavy traffic flow or any reroutes that may occur due to vehicle crashes on the interstate.
