WWTA Getting $7.6 Million Loan For Projects On Lookout Mountain And Ooltewah As Well As Sewer Survey

Officials of the Hamilton County Water & Wastewater Treatment Authority have been notified that it is eligible to receive over $7.6 million in loans from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund to address needs throughout the area.  

 The funds are allocated to three different projects.

The first loan will be used for rehabilitation projects, including three pump stations, on Lookout Mountain.

The second loan will be used in the Ooltewah area to fund a pump station and force main design work.

The third loan will fund the SSES (Sewer System Evaluation Survey) work in Hamilton County, Red Bank and Signal Mountain basins.
