Evelyn Emery
Evelyn D. Emery, 97, of Chattanooga, passed away on June 20, 2017.
She was a member of the former Hixson Church of God. Evelyn was a homemaker with a passion for her family and she enjoyed working in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Emery, Sr., several brothers and sisters and a son-in-law, Jerry A. Branum.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Judy E. Branum and James B. Emery, Jr.; three brothers, Gerome, Troy and James Downer along with four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jimmie Talley officiating. Visitation is from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
