Norma Jean Wilson, 86, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on June 19, 2017. She was born on November 10, 1930, to the late Charlie Hugh and Nell Brantley Rustin.

Jean has lived in Cleveland for the past 20 years, moving here from North Carolina where she and her husband served with East Coast Bible College beginning in 1977. Prior to that in 1970 she and her husband served with West Coast Bible College in Fresno, Ca. Jean was a charter member of Westmore Church of God and loved singing in the choir. She assisted in the nurse aid training program and was a secretary for many years. Above all things, Jean loved her family and spending time with them-especially her grandchildren. 

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E.Wilson; two sisters: Bobbie Nell Brantley and Mary Rustin; brother, Hugh Charles Rustin; and stepmother, Lillian Rustin.

She  her daughter Lisa Lemley (Lugh); son Eddy Wilson (Nancy); sisters: Frances Harden, Susan Grisham, and Faye Logan; grandchildren: Laura Jean Wilson Holt (Jason Chad Holt) of Kannapolis, NC, Lugh John Lemley III of Charleston, Tn., Lucas Thomas Wilson Lemley (Jennifer Jacel Justice Lemley) of Bangkok Thailand, Kathy Michelle Wilson Cronin(Garret S. Cronin) of Mt. Pleasant, NC, Landon Hampton Frederick Lemley (Lacy Rene Henry Lemley) of Cleveland; 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. 

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, Tn. 37311 and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, at Harden's Chapel United Methodist Church located at 970 GA-56, Lyons, GA 30436.

A celebration of life service will follow visitation at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, at the church with Reverend Henry Smith officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
