Maedrina Foster
Maedrina Foster, 69, peacefully entered eternal rest on June 23, 2017.
Maedrina was known for her love for the Lord and her family. Born into a Christian family, she maintained her faith in the Lord until the end. She enjoyed working for the Lord in various capacities from music, pastor's aid and women's ministry. Maedrina worked for over 25 years as cafeteria manager for Chattanooga Public Schools.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert D. Foster, her parents, Willie C. And Edna Mae Johnson and two of her siblings, Isaiah Johnson and Willie Johnson Jr.
Survivors include two sons, James L. Foster Jr. (Lisa), Clesslie B. Bryant Foster (Joclyn), eight grandchildren, Jamie Johnson (Jonathan), Brandon Crutcher, Ashley Gerald (Terry), Samuel Foster, Robert Foster, Jr., Chandler Foster, Carsen Foster, and Charleston Foster, 11 great-grandchildren, loving siblings, Rebecca Culpepper, Mary Walker, Patricia Kellogg (Frank), Wallace Johnson, Nathaniel Johnson, Howard Johnson (Erlene) and Mrs. Pat Dark, a devoted and lifelong friend.
Visitation and memorial will be held at The Worship Center Apostolic, 1014 East 4th Street on June 29, from 6-8 p.m.
A Life Celebration will be on June 30, at 11:30 a.m. at Greater Emmanuel Apostolic, 400 Tunnel Blvd., with Elder C. Bryant Foster presiding and Pastor James L. Foster, Jr. as eulogist.
