Steve Alan Prince, 61, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 24, 2017. 

He was born on Sept. 26, 1955.  Steve graduated from Kirkman High School.  Over the years, he worked in various manufacturing jobs and resided in Chattanooga all of his life.  Steve was a Tennessee Vols fan just like his father.

Steve enjoyed times with his friends usually with good southern meals.  He was a gentle soul with love in his heart for everyone.  He had many friends and acquaintances but held a special place in his heart for two people very close and dear to him, Wesley McJunkin and Linda “Gentry” Kaylor.

Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jo Miller Prince and his father, E. L. Prince. 

He is survived by his brother, David Prince of Jacksonville, Florida.

There will be no memorial service.  Steve will be buried in Hannah Cemetery in Rising Fawn, Ga. with his grandparents and his mother.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
