Billy Joe Gass, 80, of Rising Fawn, Ga. died Friday June 23, 2017. Mr. Gass was self-employed logger and he loved to hunt, fish, and was one of the last ginseng hunters.
Mr. Gass was preceded in death by his son Karl Gass.
Surviving include his two daughters Connie (Joe) Cebulski of Newnan, Ga. and Kay Gass Palmetto, Ga.; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two brothers Leroy Gass and Jimmy Gass; two sisters Faye Olson Pinkard and Luedith Gass; also several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, June 26 at Head Springs Cemetery. Arrangents by Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, Ga.
