Phyllis Day
Phyllis Maybelle Day, 81, a resident of Charleston, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017, at her home.
She was born on Sept. 23, 1935, in Albia, Iowa a daughter of the late Cletus Z. and Lydia Hughes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Hallie W. Day and several siblings.
He is survived by her two sons, Jason L. and Joseph A. Day, one brother, Richard “Dick” Hughes, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces along with their children and grandchildren.
A memorial service and gathering is planned for Saturday, July 1, at 5 p.m. at the Tinsley Park in Cleveland, Tn.
