Louise Underwood Broome, 91, of Rossville, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.
She was born to the late William James and Beulah Philips Underwood in DeKalb County, AL and had lived most of her life in the Rossville area. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and retired from the dietary department of Hutcheson Medical Center. Louise was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, who will be greatly missed.

She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Herbert Broome; son, Charles Robertson; grandson, Ken Robertson; and 12 brothers and sisters.

Louise is survived by her loving children, Jerry (Glenda) Robertson, Diane (Terry) Bethune and Karon (Eddie) Ray, all of Rossville; brother, Bufford James (Janie) Underwood of Rossville; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 30, in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Randy Chestnut and Brother Steve Camp officiating. Interment will follow in Daily Hills Cemetery.
 
The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday and prior to service on Friday.
