LBMC PC Announces Audit And Tax Department Management Promotions

LBMC announces the following 2017 management promotions for the firm – all located in the Chattanooga office.

The following staff member has been promoted to a senior manager position: 

Christina Edwards has been named senior manager in the Audit Department. Ms. Edward joined LBMC in 2005 and has over 12 years of experience providing assurance and advisory services to closely held businesses. Ms. Edwards has worked in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, service industries, not-for-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, and others.  She graduated from the UTC with her Masters of Accountancy. Ms. Edwards is a native of Chattanooga.  She enjoys photography and spending time with her husband and two sons. 

The following staff member has been promoted to a manager position: 

Joyce Ann Williams has been named manager in the Tax Department. Ms. Williams first joined LBMC as a tax intern in 2012 before going full time in tax services. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She currently is the LBMC Young Professional Group Treasurer and a Chattanooga representative. She is an active volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement and fundraises for JA Strike for Education. Ms. Williams plays a part in campus recruiting for the Chattanooga office. 

The following staff members have been promoted to a senior position: 

Kori Botting has been named senior in the Audit Department. Ms. Botting joined LBMC in 2016 after completing an audit internship with TVA in the financial operations and performance department. She graduated from UTC with a double major in Accounting and Finance. In her time away from the office, Ms. Botting enjoys hiking, kayaking and music festivals. 

Kim Pace has been named senior in the Audit Department. Ms. Pace joined LBMC in 2016 after completing a consulting internship with Rock Creek Consulting.  She graduated from Lee University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Finance emphasis.  Ms. Pace is from Dayton, Ohio and loves sports, reading and watching movies.

Lauren Hawk has been named senior in the Tax Department. Ms. Hawk joined LBMC in 2015 after working as a tax staff accountant at Henderson and Gouger, PLLC. A native to Nashville, she now calls Chattanooga home where she received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from UTC. Ms. Hawk is actively involved in the American Heart Association as well as the Alzheimer’s Association. Her hobbies include cooking, knitting, off-roading, and loving on dogs.
