Boydston, Betty Crisp (Trenton)

Betty Crisp Boydston, 83, of Trenton, Georgia, departed this life on Sunday June 4, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Boydston was a housewife, homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a charter member of the Sand Mountain United Methodist Church. 

Preceded in death by her husband, James B. Boydston; parents, Troy and Georgia Crisp; brothers, Shermon and John Crisp; sister, Annie Jo Laney.

Survivors include her loving daughter, Alice (Tom) Black of Trenton; son, James (Sandy) Boydston of Trenton; son, Joel Boydston of Trenton; four grandsons, James Boydston, Jr., Jesse (Lydia) Boydston, James Black, Andrew Black; one great-grandson, Titus Boydston; sister, Judy (Don) Burnap; and several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday June 7, at Brown’s Gap Cemetery with Reverend Larry Williams officiating.

Arrangements are by Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton.
