Ruby Frye
Ruby Lee Townsend Frye, 90, of LaFayette, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017.
She was born to the late Harvey Franklin and Etta Viola Colbert Townsend in Chickamauga and has been a lifelong resident of the LaFayette and Chickamauga Area. Ruby was a member of North LaFayette Baptist Church and was a loving and dedicated Christian and friend, who will be greatly missed.
She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Marvin Frye; son, Randy Frye; siblings, Billie Hill and Samuel Townsend.
Ruby is survived by her nieces and nephew, Beverly (Larry) Rhoad, Linda Hill, and Rick (Susan) Townsend; special friends, Judy and LeRoy German; and her loving pet, Snowball.
The funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, in the funeral home chapel, with Reverend Rick Frazier and Reverend Larry Rhoad officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service time on Thursday.
